The Latest Big Gaming Apps to be Released

Let’s face it :

for most of us who own the latest android phone half of the reason we love it so much is because we can play games on it.

It’s not a shameful thing anymore in fact games aren’t just for nerds anymore – everyone’s playing , me too, in fact a lot :)

A quick glance at the most popular downloads will show that games are outstripping every other genre of app that you can find. Gaming doesn’t carry the stigma that it used to anymore and we have handheld mobile devices to partly thank for that.

Some of the games that are still popular have been big sellers seemingly forever. Angry birds (my no.1 favourite game) is still somehow outselling brand new releases and it shows no sign of waning in popularity.

Cut the rope android game

Cut the rope is a slightly less popular but a no less fun game that has been keeping eyes and thumbs busy for over a year now. But what about some of the newer breeds?

As technology advances so too does the software that can run on it. So the games we are seeing right now are only the next step in a rapidly evolving ecosystem that shows no sign of slowing.

Classic puzzlers like Tetris have made a massive comeback as a downloadable app as well as old school board games like Monopoly and Scrabble.

As well as the older, more well-known games there are games appearing from all corners and proving themselves to be just as popular as the old favourites.

Games like Fruit Ninja (which recently got a remake for the console) and Jetpack Joyride have put the company Halfbrick Studios firmly on the map.

You don’t have to have the latest contract phones to play most of these games and they are perfect to enjoy anytime anywhere.
