Android 2.3.3 update starts for the Samsung galaxy Ace. Samsung released the first official gingerbread update over KIES for the galaxy ACE . The first updates are for Russia and Polish users,more updates will live soon

Kuldeep, I downloaded this file. But the the link to the guide you have provided is for the upgrade to 2.3.4. I am already on 2.3.4. I want the official 2.3.3. Please help me, as this file contains .tar file and I dont know what to do with it.
Guide for official update is same , only thing changed is firmware file and selecting files in ODIN
Follow steps below instead of step 4to9 in 2.3.4 Guide
Tick all the options in the “Option” Field that are “One package”, “Auto Reboot” and “Protest OPS”.
click on OPS and select Cooper_v1.0.ops
click on One Package and select S5830XWKPN_S5830XWKP6_S5830OXXKP7_HOME.tar
From where can I get the “Cooper_v1.ops”. It is not in the RAR file. Should I use the one u provided in the 2.3.4 pack?
yes you can use old Cooper_v1.ops
Oh no… There is some problem… After following all the steps properly.. The phone rebooted.. but its showing this message “Sorry! The application Setup Wizard (Process com.sec.android.ugl) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.” Its force closing again and again.. Help me

hmmm… not working on 2.3.4 ,reason is application force close on start up. but whats the problem on 2.3.3 , i found it more tasty than old 2.3.3 Gingerbread
did you mean 2.3.4 is better even it’s not official?
it is official but not released publicly yet, take it like this , this update is beta version with very less bugs

when i accudentally call someone i cannot get my Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830 to hang up, i’ve had this phone just little over 24 hrs, and if you ask me the manual that comes with it is a joke!

I’ve had mine for 3 days and also can’t figure how the hell to hang up. Most frustrating!!! Computers SHould come with a manual.
go to the phonebook and try to recall the person you called, then you get the scree with the hang up button. Not the best solution possible, but it’s tyhe only thin I found up till now. Very annoying !!!
