The Samsung galaxy S3 and Motorola’s upcoming smartphone, which is apparently going to be named as the Motorola droid fighter, are the two most anticipated smartphones in the market. The rumor market has been heating up over these two phones, and techies all over the gadget world are discussing which one is going to have an edge over the other.
The rumors are strong, and none of them has been proved yet. Still, by considering the leaks and information galore, the Motorola droid is going to be the toughest competitor to the Samsung galaxy smart phone series. The news and specifications have not been released yet, but we are comparing and contrasting the specifications as per the reports and leaks we have till now. We will compare the features one by one.
1. Performance – CPU, RAM & Graphics
According to the rumors, the Samsung galaxy S3 features the Samsung built exynos 4412 SoC, which is a quad core ARM cortex CPU with 1.5-1.8 GHz and ARM Mali T604 GPU.
On the other hand, the Motorola droid fighter is said to feature a Texas instruments OMAP 4470 SoC CPU. It doesn’t have the quad core, but the 1.8 GHz dual core ARM cortex A9 processor will be fast enough for android users.
The galaxy S3 and Motorola droid fighter are believed to have a 2GB RAM , which is double the memory available in present smartphones. Overall, in terms of processor, Samsung galaxy S3 is better owing to its quad core CPU.

2. Screen
According to a leaked image of the Motorola droid fighter, the upcoming Motorola smartphone will have a 4.6 inch display. No capacitive buttons can be seen, so we suppose that about 0.3 inches of the screen will have the standard android 4.0 ICS on screen buttons.
The phone is 0.3 inches bigger than the predecessor in this series, the DROID RAZR. Going with the reports, a 720p resolution is most likely. The Samsung galaxy S3 is also said to be having a 4.6 inch HD display with 1280 by 720 pixel resolution. So, in terms of display, both are expected to fair equally.

3. Battery Life
As the rumors claim, the Motorola droid fighter has the 3300mAh battery, which was present in Droid razr Maxx also. It is believed to last an entire day on one charging. On the contrary, the Samsung galaxy S3 is believed to have the standard <2000mAh battery, which can hardly last upto 12 hours in one charge. So, in terms of battery life, the Motorola Droid fighter is a clear winner.
