Navigon Mobile Navigator 4.0 Available , Download via Android Market

Navigon has released version 4.0 of its satellite navigation system for Android. The application can be purchased directly from the Android Market ,

Old users also can update their Navigon app. Before you see prices, we will look at characteristics of the new release, as they have been notified by Navigon.

First with Navigon Mobile Navigator 4.0 changes the interface that is renewed and enriched with new features to be even more simple and straightforward to use. With Navigon Cockpit  more information regarding to the trip and the route are contained on one screen and can be observed and kept under control.

Maps updated with the new version (just the lack of update is a defect in the reviews by many users complained on the Android Market ) and ability to manage those who serve directly from the device .

As always there are other very useful functions that can be purchased directly from the application (after having bought and downloaded) through Google Checkout.

Among these is FreshMaps XL , with updates quarterly maps, Warner Mobile Live which informs drivers of "black spots", indicating the presence of speed cameras, guides the "All-in-one" with points of interest each location and Traffic Live , with real-time information on traffic.


Finally, the prices: the update will of course be free for those who have already bought the full version of Navigon Mobile Navigator while new users can take advantage of the promotion valid until November 2nd and save ten euros.

The app with Europe maps costs 47.95 euros (instead of 59.95) while the Italian regions with the costs 39.95 euros (instead of 49.95 euros). The same discount also applies to those who buy FreshMaps XL.
