    • It is wipe version and i dont think you have to install this update, it have some minor bug fixes and name changed to KI8

      • Ok, man, thanks, i did not install it, i will wait for some other firmware, i am very satisfied with xxki3, i want to ask you, can i flash on device siyah kernel, with odin 1.85, is it the same procedure put the siyah kernel in pda and click start?? If you can put some install guide. It will not wipe my data, is that write?

Thanks bro, you are very helpfull to me.

    thx

  3. Odin does not pick up my device… Do i need Kies on the pc but not running in backround or is it the drivers that i installed? everything is done according to what you said but it still doesn’t pick up..

  4. Raghav Sehgal says:

I had installed 2.3.4 XXKG6 as per your earlier post. I have not rooted the phone and I do not intend to do until I need to install Ice Cream Sandwich (if that requires rooting, then so be it). My gtalk video chat was not working or was not installed in XXKG6 update. So my questions:
    1. Will this update requires rooting?
    2. Will the video chat on gtalk get enabled?
    3. What are the differences between this update and XXKG6?

Looking forward to your answers and really appreciate the good work you have been putting into this forum.

    Regards,

    Raghav

  13. Hi Mate,

Thanks for your posting. Keep good work.

I have successfully upgraded my firmware to 2.3.4 XWKI4 to 2.3.5 XWKI8 as per the steps in this blog… and also rooted.

Please can you advise me which is best/free ROM’s to update for UI Interface and to save drain Battery at least for 2days.
