it is an European firmware but will work on other regions too. It released recent in these days and also official available by Samsung KIES in Russia

Warning
- This update is only and only for Galaxy mini international version , and phones locked with network are not supported
- Upgrading will delete all phone memory so backup all your data like contacts,call log, messages and calendar. head over to this post about how to make backup of android phone before upgrading
- Charge your phone battery at least 70%
- Disable KIES ,antivirus , firewall on PC
REQUIRED
- Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread firmware from this link OR Download via Link 2
- OPS file
- ODIN downloader tool for Galaxy mini
INSTALLATION GUIDE
- First extract the Downloaded files , and save them on desktop like safe place [Password=samfirmware.com]
- Start the ODIN multi downloader.
- Click on OPS box in odin and select TASS_v1.0.ops
- Check One package check box then Click the One package box in ODIN , and select S5570XXKPK_S5570XXKPK_S5570SERKPK_HOME.Tar file
- Make sure you have checked auto reboot ,protect OPS too
- Now switch off your phone
- Now press and hold volume down and middle key. While holding both press power on key. it will boot your phone in download mode
- Connect your phone to PC with the help of USB cable , just after connecting you will see first box from left in odin will turn yellow and ADDED message will appear
- If you done all above step successfully then you can hit “START” button in odin to begin flashing process
- It will take few minutes to complete new firmware flashing process.
- When all completes your galaxy mini will restart.

Note:-
- Change the phone language( Russian) according to your regional language. to do that go to Menu > Settings > Language > locale > languages. I know you can’t understand it in Russian language but remember icons shown in below video
- The last step is clearing cache of phone to make your latest rom more fresh , so Boot the phone in recovery mode (Press Middle key + Power on key in switch off mode) and delete all cache data it will make your phone freshy.

hi….i already told that i updated my galaxy pop to 2.2.3 bt i got a problm..my battery backup is very low…after this update…i had to recharge with in hours…and am going to update to 2.3.4…by this is there any posibility of increasing battery status…and is this a…stable version…..?

Hi… I have a problem with this. It is a very small bug, but i thought you might know. I installed android 2.3.4 on my Samsung galaxy mini GT-S5570L and the operating system is fine, but every 25 to 35 seconds (sometimes 5 minutes or so) the screen flashes (switch from on to off and then on)… what should I do? any ideas?

Actually i have already gingerbread 2.3.4 downloaded earlier and running smooth but my version is android 2.3.4 gingerbread “XXKPI” my question is what is the difference of XXKPI to XXKPK. Second question is how to flash kernel for overclocking? My third question, with this version why the message skin gone?
There is no change log for XXKPK firmware , so test and know whats new. I never recommend overclocking , it is very risky and not good
for hardware.

all my apps are still there and KIES said that S/W version in your phone in not an official version. Firmware upgrade of unofficial S/W version is not supported. Just like on my previous “XXKPI” version.

you have to check up you APN parameters : it may be wrong setting : do this =>
menu->settings->WireLess and Networks->Mobile Networks->Access Point Names

I can solve the problem now:
the compressed download file must be exploded by 7-zip ONLY…!
formerly, i exploded it by winrar : that’s the main cause : the uncompress file are not 100% usable. it worked well immediately once uncompressed by 7Zip….!!!!
everything is done but the icon size dropped and it is smaller then before is this bcoz of the upgrade or any problem….

I did everything right and when I click start it says downloading mibib, and then the timer just keeps going and going, never stops. I close the program and try booting the phone, samsung galaxy mioni logo appears for 2 seconds then It shows me a picture of phone and a computer with ‘!’ put between them. Did I just screw up my phone and If i did, what can i do to fix it quickly?

Don’t waste your time on these. Just install Samsung Keiss and follow the instructions to update the firmware. Did mine today and voila I got the Gingerbread.

At Odin Multi Downloader it’s not the same like in that picture above Odin Multi Downloader (GT-S 5570) but Odin Multi Downloader (Android). Is there any problem with that??

I am trying to upgrade from Froyo to GB 2.3.6 using ODIN 4.3, TASS_v0.1.ops, package as GT-S5570_FWD_S5570JVKT1_S5570OJVKT1_S5570XWKT2_S5570JVKT1. However, when I start the upgrade, it seems to get stuck at ODIN and for 30 odd minutes nothing is happening. Can I remove my phone now, without the possibility of getting it bricked?

Tried returning to download mode by key combination at battery reinsert, tried recovery mode, tried (V- + V+ + Home) key combination as well. At most, it comes to a gray screen, does not go any further. Odin can still identify the COM port, however, gets a time-out while trying to setup communication.
I tried with One-Click too, while unbricking, it is obviuosly not identifying phone.
Any suggestions?

Hi Kuldeep, I tried with this method too. However, phone was not getting into the download or recovery mode anymore. After a day with it, I had to submit it to the service center and they had to change the motherboard of the device, as it went dead
. I am not sure how it might have happened. Any ideas?
I am soon going to try it again, along with rooting. This time my focus will be on not killing the motherboard, if I know how not to; and trying out Android ICS.
